Mansfield DSE Research Visit
As part of the research aspect of my project I visited the Mansfield DSE depot. During this visit I was able to photograph and investigate their range of firefighting units. The bellow photos show both the Toyota units, Nissan units, equipment and the tanker unit.
Storage rack ontop of slip on unit. Unfortunatly worksafe victoria prohibits climbing on vehicles to access equiptment.
Tool boxes lack storage racks etc. Tools become a clutter inconvenient mess. Tool boxes are a state standard. Depots have no choice in the matter.
All sides must come down to access tool box. Major inconvenience…
Quick release pins to attach the unit.
Foam system.
DSE 4×4 tanker.
Firebug Burners.
Quickfill trailer and collar tank.
Tray has been redesigned to make the box more functional.
Milhaven alluminium trays.
